Description
Contour battery switch has a number of features. Patented contour lock system, allows it to stand alone or lock together with other switches. Also features a control knob which cannot be removed whilst in the ON of Off position, however can be removed by switching to anti-clockwise 45deg position. The control knob has interchangeable labelling. There are removable side plates for cable access on any side. Surface or recess mounting. 2 x 10mm tin plated copper studs and nuts. Continuous rating 275 amps DC, Intermittent rating 455amps DC, Cranking rating 1250amps DC, Voltage rating 48volts DC maximum. Ignition protected. Dimensions 69 x 69 x 75mm high. IMPORTANT. Do not use any type of corrosion inhibiting spray such as CRC, INOX etc on any part of this unit. These units are hermetically sealed so do not require any other form of sealing. Although studs are tinned a petroleum grease may be used if required (but only on metal parts)

The removable back cover insulates terminal preventing short circuit
