Description

The GX1800G makes DSC easy. With an internal 66-channel GPS integrated into the front panel, it is not necessary to connect the radio to a GPS for DSC. DSC calling, position sharing, waypoint navigation, and navigation to DSC distress calls can all be accomplished with just a few simple steps.

Second Station RAM4 Compatibility: Now compatible with Standard Horizon’s newest Second Station microphone, RAM4 , Model SSM-70. All functions of the main radio can now be controlled on the RAM4 of the second station. This includes all radio functions, DSC functions and intercom functions between the radio and the second station.

Easy-to-use E2O menu system: The new easy-to-use menu system has been revised especially for the operator and is now more intuitive than ever. Access all menu functions and settings with just a few simple steps. DSC calls and DSC programming have never been easier.

Ultra-compact, easy installation: Installing an FM radio has never been easier. The Explorer series VHF radios have an ultra-thin, compact rear case with a depth of only 82 mm or half the depth of comparable VHF radios on the market. The rear case design also offers flexibility in flush mounting the radio (requires MMB-97) in tight spaces or mounting the radio, as it takes up less space on the dashboard and allows for more mounting options.
